Comics have always had progressive politics, I don’t think that’s what this Boycott is about. It’s not about kind words or suggestions through story. They’re talking about tangible change.
If DC has been working hard to do this then the Boycott won’t last long at all. I saw Absolute Catwoman was announced with Che Grayson writing. That’s good news.

I love DC, but this brings up a valid point. You could say that no one has pitched any ideas with the characters, but they also race swapped John Jones in Absolute Martian Manhunter. And that’s ending.
So while I love what they’re doing for comics, and I love the stories they’re putting out, I think I’ll take a break from buying from them. I dont think it’s any creators fault, but I do this that someone should say something.
